Head south to Tourrettes, a picturesque village of character in the Var, where Raphaël artist Jean Marie Ferrer unveils his paintings of eternal Provence, bathed in light, like a haven of softness and serenity.

Based in Saint Raphaël in the Var region of France, Jean-Marie Ferrer has opened a studio/gallery where he creates and exhibits his work, as well as giving painting lessons. Working with oil paints that he applies delicately with a knife, the artist creates landscapes fully inspired by the surrounding countryside. The color nuances and warm lights, as well as the subjects depicted, are drawn directly from the heart of Provence's rich heritage.
