Nature reserve
As the natural border between the Var and Alpes-Maritime regions, the Siagne River has carved out deep gorges that are home to numerous plant and animal species.
To preserve this exceptional biodiversity, 11 riverside communities, including Montauroux, have joined the Natura 2000 network.
